The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

MGE XE & MCP installed and not showing up in the game files. HELP!!!!
I've spent a long time attempting to download these two mods to get a 1366x768(or so...) resolution and bug fixes and when I load up the game they aren't in the Plugins and I can't have my resolution.

I copied, and extracted, and watched videos explaining what to do and I don't get an end result... just nothing. I'm new to modding and I'm not getting crashes or general bad results, I'm getting no results.

I've given Morrowind, Steam, MGE XE, and MCP admin, re-downloaded the game and my two mods and attempted the Nexus Mod Manager, and all I got from that was a weather plugin that I don't think I actually looked at because I was to busy trying to make this work.

The worst thing is I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! :steamfacepalm:

I went from 8PM-5AM trying fruitlessly, so I'll need you to go V E R Y slow.

I've never used MGE XE, but MCP will not show up in your list of plugins in the data files, as it's not a plugin at all - it's a good old-fashioned patcher that simply changes the main exe file of the game. But if you have patched the exe correctly you should see "MCP" and a version number in the lower left corner of the title screen (the main menu of the game). Only the MCP showcase (an underground area in Seyda Neen) is a plugin IIRC, but I always remove that one.

They are not plugins.
Extract MGE XE and Morrowind Code Patch into Morrowind folder.
Run Morrowind Code Patch.exe, select patches you want and apply them. The copy of original Morrowind.exe will be created.
Then run MGEXEgui.exe and configure it however you like.

I believe the MCP is good, but I do the MGEXEgui.exe and nothing happens. I'll try again though.

Ok, so I filled out the MGEXEgui and I started up Morrowind and MGEXE still isn't working. Still no idea how to get my resolution. I honestly just what my wide resolution.

I see 1.6.1820 on the bottom left part of the screen, but no "MCP" seen

Then I'm pretty sure MCP is not applied - I have never seen it active without it also displaying "MCP [version number]" It literally says MCP 2.2 on my main menu. This is straight from the instructions: "The next time you start Morrowind, at the main menu you should see MCP and the version number in the bottom left corner." I think you should really look at the instructions again, you can find them here: http://download.fliggerty.com/download-58-139

OK. I looked at the intructions and I did all the things said (besides the fixes for problems I didn't have) and I have the two versions of Morrowind, when I launch the game it doesn't use the patched version. That's what I think anyways. I've managed to download Better Bodies+Heads+Clothes using the NMM, but I've yet to look to see the comparison, so I think I'm improving!
