indeed, raw iron plates somehow leave impression of solid protection. and small rusty particles make whole set... memorable.
all armor designs in morrowind stand very well next to later tes armor designs, even those who supposed to look wild and shabby.
but my favourite? hm... all bone molds maybe? just because of how well they blend into whole unique setting.
Though I find my main character often ends up in a weird mishmash of uncommon Imperial Armor. Actually, I believe the Imperial guy at the start of the game on the boat wears most of what I ike wearing.
I wish the Dragonscale armor was more pieces though.
First time I ever saw glass armor was the shoulder pieces on that Orc in Suran. II thought they looked super cool and exotic. Full glass though is a bit much.

agreed. a piece or two flare up a suit nicely, but a full suit just looks a bit over the top. to my eyes anyway.
netch leather suit looks a bit weird, but gives off an awesome vibe. that with the cephalapod helm just seems so alien and thats what morro is about.
