Pudai golden eggs?

I found the egg mine (Fighters Guild quest for golden eggs in Pudai Mine) all right, but where the heck are the eggs? I've combed every inch of the mine, including underwater in the queen's lair. Nada. There are a lot of eggs lying around that appear sort of orange (golden?) but when I pick them up, they stack with ordinary Kwama eggs already in my inventory. Same thing with the sort of gray eggs lying in a sort of platter. So just where the heck are the golden eggs? Inquiring minds want to know. Thank you.

It's been a while that I've done this... But I think they must be near the queen, maybe you missed them there?

Try looking just behind the queen. I'm in the same boat as the above poster, just getting back into the game after not playing it for some time. IIRC, they do have a kind of golden look to them, if you look carefully enough, and they should be in the nest, with the label "Golden Egg" apearing over any of them if the reticule passes within its hitbox.
