So I got a disc from 2002...
...And I can't get it to work for the life of me. I have windows 10 and a PC that can more than run the game. Its just the plain game, not GOTY.
Can anyone offer any help?

Use the key and get the game from steam. (+add a game)

They didn't make game keys back then.

You should try to see if you can make an .iso backup of it, and run it off of that. Win 8/10 can natively create ISO's from cd-rom discs. I have old Starcraft discs from the late 90's that still worked after making them into .iso files.
I will try this, thanks for the help! :eli:

I got an iso recorder (couldn't find the default windows 10 one lol) and when trying to copy the disk to an iso file, I got an error code 17, which apparently means its damaged or copy-protected. Oh well :(

Try to turn off your antivirus when you are installing the game. I have the original game of the year version installed on windows 10 without any problems except the resolution.
