We need it, and if mcpig doesn't do it, we do it ourselves

It should be called Hotel Pizza to reference Hotel Mario, but also it would be a good setting.

Didn't this game take like a decade to make? I wouldn't expect a sequel anytime soon.

its not needed, you're too enthusiastic, let it be a possibility years later

It took five years with only one developer (except for the music which was made by a few other people), if McPig can get a bigger team to work for a sequel it will be here in no time
A DLC is apparently a possibility according to the devs, but now they're just taking a break and don't know what they're gonna do next so no guarantees.

An expansion with 2-3 new levels, playable Noise in place of Peppino and maybe some hard mode (that was scrapped before release) would be something I would 100% drop 15 dollars on.

Having a bigger team could sound like both a blessing and a curse. Like yeah it can make development faster but it also could make the project suffer from clashing ideas.

Something similar happened back when Demo 2 got released (like in 2018), there was another level designer along with McPig but that guy left because they were going through different directions each. Mcpig was gonna focus more on platforming, speed and a bit of exploration, while the other guy was going for a more mazey or puzzle focused level design.
