Is PT really that good?

I'm getting it today. XD

I'm a platformer junkie but what really sold me was the review in PC Gamer. Do you think it will ever come to console / Limited Run?

Honestly don't really see what all the hate for OP is about here. The 17 tutorials comment had me a bit more confused than anything (referring to the way the level is structured into mini chambers focusing on a specific mechanic maybe?)

Honestly I've seen comments more deserving of the toxic response in the STS boards with people just screaming about the game being luck based ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and essentially ending their post with "Fight me", and then just devolving into more and more absurd rants when met with genuine advice on how to improve, but OPs comment wasn't even like... bad...at all? It was literally just "I didn't care for the game". That's it.... not "This game is ass" or "The devs should change the entire game to cater to my tastes", just.... that he didn't like it.

Like, ok, the game's not for him (or maybe he just didnt give it enough of a chance to really get to the good parts. Hell if you're not into score attack style games and just look to clear a game once and be one and done I can see how the game might not really appeal to you too).

If you do decide to give the game another shot OP, hope you do get some enjoyment out of it.

His post was so low IQ it made my brain bleed. Guy goes from being overly excited about the game to the point of asking if a potential console port is in the works to crying over the game being bad due to it being "overly complicated" (WTF) and slapping it with a negative review.
I genuinely respect people who judge a game based on gameplay on youtube and give a review based on that than what this guy did.
Might as well review a movie based on the opening credits.

The tutorial is actually very straightforward, but at least from my experience, you are going to suck at this game at first
This ain't a bad thing however, often times you can get to Pizza Granny at the hub to get some tips here and there, and over time you'll be having a better flow within the game, especially if you like experimentation
Give the game another shot, when I started this game I had some doubts, but the more I played, the more I got engaged, and now I'm trying to 100% it
It's also a short game, so if you only beat it and you end up not liking it, you didn't lose much time

BTW from what I could gather, a console port ain't on the team's priority, at least not in a near future

Steam boards are usually like this, but I certainly did not expect to see so much of these regarding this game, losing their cool so early into posts

True, I found it weird, but I usually give the benefit of the doubt if the person wasn't ill-willed
Seems like they also lost their cool afterwards though
