How to install mods

Ive been trying to install mods and it wont work so someone help me.

you might be trying to install a outdated mod that doesn't work with the current version of the game, if it isn't outdated the error is probably because your using pizza oven which is currently broken, id recommend using delta patcher instead of pizza oven it isn't as simple as pizza oven but it works.

i am trying to install the lap 3 mod i opened delta patcher and selected data.win file and the main mod file as the xdelta patch and it still says "An error has occurred: xdelta3: invalid file name: empty string"

It might have to do with the language update. Alot of mods dont work with pizza tower anymore like Lap Hell Pizza Pursuit, Playable Fake Peppino, and Pasta Castle, because of the language update. You could also be using a mod that is super outdated, and wont work. I dont know how to change to an older version of pizza tower, but i hope this clears up any confusion!!! ^_^

A bit late, but you may need to downgrade your version of Pizza Tower. There's a tutorial on how to do it on Gamebanana (https://gamebanana.com/tuts/15809). Looking at the page of the Lap 3 mod, the version you want is 1.0.311, which is the pinned comment on the linked tutorial. Make sure you back-up your save data though.
