Yall I need help
So I have Pizza Oven right? In order for my pizza oven to work I need to delete my data.po file for it to work - so I deleted it first time, everything worked, fine, right?

Then for some reason when trying to download lap 3 it wouldn't work, so I went back into my files and deleted data.po to get it to work. I thought everything was fine, then, it wouldn't let me patch the mod again. When I went back into my Pizza Tower files it had shown data.po again.

So I deleted it again.

It reappeared back.

Again, I deleted it.

It reappeared again.

I even tried dragging it onto my pc itself, and while it was on my pc, it STILL wouldn't work because ANOTHER data.po file was in my Pizza Tower game files?!

I'm not pasting the file - I'm sure I'm not!

So what do I do? I can't patch any mod and I don't want to have to go back to manually patching mods onto deltapatcher then manually taking them off again, it's going to quickly get annoying.

This happened to me too, I think it has something to do with the Data.win file not the Data.win.po file. (Cause when you delete it, the game will just crash. DON’T delete the data.win.po file or Data.win file.) Here’s what I did that fixed it.

1. If you haven’t already downloaded it, download Undertale mod tool, there are a lot of great videos out there that tell you were to download it and what to do to install it. If you want a link here is one, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eHIJhtzJSt4. Do what the guy says and apply the mod tool to the data.win file. Open it, and you should get a error message. That is apart of what you need to do and now with that step done you now got to verify the steam files.

2. Ok now that you’ve installed the latest version of Undertale mod tool, go to properties on the Pizza Tower steam client, go to installed files, and click “Verify Game Files”. Wait for the game to refresh and after that’s done, the game should be runnable, which is good for now.

3. This is when things get complicated. Close out of steam (you won’t need that until later) go to your desktop and create a text document by left clicking and selecting New, and then Text document. Ok, now you have a text document, don’t type anything in there just left click on it on your desktop and rename it whatever you want EXCEPT instead of a .txt at the end, change it to .exe. If you do this you computer should say something like how the file might be unstable, ignore it and press ok. Now, instead of a txt file, you should have an exe file. What you must do is re-open steam, go to the Pizza Tower steam client, go to “browse local files”, go to the data.win file and go to “properties” on that file, (left click and go to “properties”.) It should show a lot of info, but ignore most of that and go to where it says “Open with”. It should say “Open with Undertalemodtool.exe” with the option to change, click “change” and you should get a pop up showing you many apps to choose from. Scroll down and choose “other apps on this device” and search up the document you made earlier with the tag .exe. Click it and now the data, win and .po files should open to that file. DON’T REFRESH THE GAME YET! THIS IS A MAJOR PART IN THE PROCESS!
The game will crash when you try to open it due to the data files having basically nothing to store data in, like they’re awkwardly holding on to all the game files. Don’t worry, nothing is erased, and everything you have is still there.

4. Now, delete the fake exe file you made. That sounds like a bad idea but this will help you down the line. Once deleted, the data files are still set to the fake exe file so now what you need to do now is restart your PC to refresh the files.

5. Now that you have successfully restarted your PC go back to the Steam client for Pizza Tower and BAM! Your Data.win and Data.win.po are set back to the default, keeping all of your saves and collectibles. Now that the data files are working fine, back to our good old friend Undertale mod tool. You can just open the file with Undertale mod tool the same way you did it with the fake exe file, except it should now be a default app. Now that you have it opened you should see that there is no error sign. If that happened, try running Pizza Oven Mods and they should work. Rejoice!

Hopefully this works out, best of luck and hope this helps.
what are you talking about

the .po files have nothing to do with the game, theyre files created by pizza oven as a backup of the data.win, and if you used pizza oven when your game was already modded, theres a chance the modded version of the game got backed up to those files, all you have to do to fix it is delete the files and reinstall the game, nothing else

undertale mod tool is a tool for MAKING mods, not installing them, using it to fix this problem is just unnesecary, please stop spreading misinformation about this

My bad. I just tried to help. This sort of thing happened to me before and that is what I did to fix it. Didn't mean to spread misinformation. Sorry.

thats fine, but you should probably either edit your post to say that you dont need to do this or just delete it to avoid people from looking up their problem with pizza oven and going on a massive side quest that they really dont need to do
