Lag *specifically* in Freezerator

For whatever reason, I get intense slowdown in Freezerator (and JUST Freezerator, no other levels, tower floors or bosses). It's bad enough that the level is basically unplayable :/

I'm not using a patterned outfit (golden god if you were wondering lol), i have v-sync and texture filtering off, its in fullscreen, and again: I don't get this lag anywhere else.

As for my specs: an Intel i5 CPU, 4GB RAM, Windows 11, Intel Xe GPU? (i think anyway)

Also this only started recently. I didn't update my laptop or switch devices or anything really, and it's kept happening since. So yeah, I'm not sure what's going on but if anyone knows I'd appreciate it :>

oh and it's throughout the whole level. not just the bits where santa is on-screen or smth

Golden God is a patterned outfit actually, it has subtle circles on it. I don't think changing it would help that much but it's worth a shot.

you're probably thinking of goldemanne (the clothes for all achievements). oh also, i already fixed the issue lmao, turns out i just needed to free up some ram
