Pizza Tower not starting from desktop or steam app Please help!!! (Fixed)

To all of those still commenting, stating it now that I have fixed this issue. What worked for me was installing the specefic dll files from a website and putting it in the file location.

Note that it has a lot of possibly malicious ads but if you know what your doing they should be easy to avoid.

Original post: Just bought the game a few minutes ago, when I click the green play button it switches to the blue cancel one for a few seconds with the "synchronizing steam cloud" stuff but then goes back the the green play button, if I try opening it from desktop it shows the steam cloud popup and literally nothing happens, not sure what to do... I have also tried restarting and playing without internet


Small Update: I went to browse local files and tried to open it there and figured out the problem, Im missing 2 files, "MFplat.dll and Mf.dll" I knew about the first one as I had the same problem with roblox but downloading it from a different site and dragging it into roblox's folder works fine, same with pizza tower except I have no idea were to get Mf.dll from, most of the videos with a website are from a year ago that have changed completley to the point where there unrecognizeable so does anyone know what to do?

Edit 2: even after downloading both files and putting them in the game it still dosen't work, some type of error code showed up, it said "(0xc000007b)." I don't know what to do and really hope I can still play this game..

one last edit... Yes i know this game downloads something upon starting it for the first time, something called microsoft something, idk, but the problem is that it can't start, I really hope someone who knows whats going on is reading this because I really want to play this game! please help!

happened to me too but for a diff reason i think its cuz i deleted data.pov or something like that and idk how to fix too :(

try deleting all the files on the game except for PizzaTower.exe then verify integrity of game files
it restores the files that were deleted and maybe it will restore the Mf.dll file so you can play the game

Just tried that, deleted the 2 folders and all other files except the pizza tower application. The re verified, and the same outcome happened. It didn't work, but thanks anyway..

installing the Windows Media Feature Pack worked for me. (includes both MFplat.dll and Mf.dll) I'm on Windows 10 so I had to install it via the settings.

"Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Optional Features > Add a Feature and find the Media Feature Pack in the list of available Optional Features. Note, you will not be prompted to restart your computer, but you must restart in order to successfully complete installation of the Media Feature Pack."

I got a similar situation when I try to open the game on deskop
Got a steam pop up (do you allow steam to do modification on this computer?) clicked yes and and got some message about synchronisation VC media and the game never open
But.. if I click no on the steam pop up the game run fine

i did it and now it shows error code (WHAT DOES THE COPY BUTTON EVEN DO, WHERE DO I PASTE THE CODE AFTER COPYING IT? WILL I BE NOT ABLE TO PLAY PIZZA TOWER EVER AGAIN?!?!?!?!)
