Basically the same as P, except for the last part.
EDIT: I also heard people mention that toppins are only needed for points, and aren't strictly necessary. Not sure about that part though.
Also. if you're asking for S rank achievements - you get those for P ranks as well, so S rank is really kind of superfluous - more a big "♥♥♥♥ you" for breaking your combo while shooting for P.
Can confirm all toppings are not necessary but they definitely go a long way towards helping. Missed one when finally getting my first P rank in John the Gutter last night (figured I’d get it on the escape forgetting the route to it is blocked off). Just need all secrets, relic, enough points to S rank and not breaking combo (though your combo has to start in the first room).
Edit: forgot the topic was asking about S ranks and not P ranks! Yes S is entirely score based
although getting everything IS reccomended, you could skip a secret and still get it.
On that subject - do secret rooms only count as 'completed' if you touch the Pizzasona inside?
