The Emote / Taunt Button can also be used to parry enemy attacks, and also deflect projectiles if you time it correctly. You can also use the Super Taunt after getting a combo of 10 or higher, and by holding up after taunting, the Super Taunt will defeat every enemy on screen.

Taunts are very useful, and I recommend using them as they can help you in tough situations and against difficult enemies, just make sure you time them properly.

Taunting mid-air can also slow down your fall, which can be useful
Example: if there is a projectile coming at you and you've jumped too early to dodge it, mash the Taunt button in air to "slow yourself down" and make the projectile miss you
