But despite being a pain in the ass to P rank, I do like Gnome Forest a lot.
Another of my favorites is the Wasteyard, mostly because of the music.
Was thinking of making a thread of this kind (but with more detailed categories) myself, I'll likely still do it soon but I won't do it **too** soon so as to not ruin your thread (I'm wholesome).
That being said. I dunno If I have a clear favourite but Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator might be my pick. Despite having an obnoxious P rank, RR-Freezerator is a very enjoyable level to play casually. It feels so packed full of creative and fantastic content. Not a single second is wasted or boring in this stage and mastering certain sections of it is very rewarding.
Pizza Scare is another top tier stage and funny enough, another cruel P rank. It has amazing gimmicks, great themeing and music. Its another rewarding stage to just blast through upon mastering it, way more than RR-Freezarator actually. The Ghost King is a great enemy and I really liked the dynamic between him and Peppino throughout the level. Its genius.
I know it may seem like I am a fan of particularly difficult levels but I'm actually not. Its more of a coincidence, really.
Wasteland, Fastfood Saloon.
Most of Floor 3, except Gnome Forrest. Screw Dat place.
Floor 4.
And Don't Make a Sound, once you get used to the Jumpscares.
(WAR get's an honorable mention cause of it's intenseness)
I just want more dammit.
(I'm such a Glutton)
-World 1: John Gutter. Mostly because of the 2 minute achivement, I liked grinding for that one a lot.
-World 2: Wasteyard. Ghost is my favorite transformation and the other gimmicks in the level are also great.
-World 3: Gnome Forest. I like the soundtrack in the level, specially the song before you play as Gustavo.
-World 4: R-R-Freezerator. Also because of the soundtrack.
-World 5: WAR. It's a very fun level, simple as that.
- Floor 1: Bloodsauce Dungeon. Probably the most underrated level in the game, but I just love it. It flows like butter and has a lot of truly brilliant level design.
- Floor 2: Wasteyard. My fave ost from floor 2, combined with a great aesthetic. Honestly, I don't have much to say about the level design though, other than its good and is the least infuriating out of floor 2 lol.
- Floor 3: Deep Dish 9. Favourite level in the game. Amazing aesthetic wise and I really like how the transformation works.
- Floor 4: Pig City. This could have been number 1, but instead is number 2. I really wish they kept the circus, but the level as is is great too.
- Floor 5: Pizzascare. Hardest level to P rank in the game and is the level with the best flow.
Floor 2 : Don't really have a specific favorite level for this one. I'll go on a limb as say Wasteland for ghost peppino, but ghost john was annoying.
Floor 3 : Golf. So much stupid fun there.
Floor 4 : Oh sh*t! Lots of good oldschool references in this one and the music is banger.
Floor 5 : WAR. Everything. Music, atmosphere, guns. all of it.
Boss : Vigilante. The music, and the game style. I mean the final boss was great, but out of the mainline ones, I like Vigilante the most.
