Pizza tower crashes windows 11 (actually Nvidia 3080 issue)
Simply put, when playing pizza tower it will crash windows and reboot my pc.
It might be something that loads when you enter the main hub, as this problem first appears while I was looking through there and found the achievements.
The following times I tried to play, I went directly to Pizzascape and the game crashed during the level.
I had no problem when I played the tutorial or the John Gutter level.

Please tell me If there is any piece of info I can give or some way to create debugs to help solve this.

Just tried taking my time through the tutorial and John gutter, it crashed during the gutter level, so it's not something in the hub.

Seemingly random crashes could mean a bunch of different things.

A common thing to point to with random crashing is faulty RAM. RAM can become faulty without warning and at random, and it comes with similarly random crashing. Despite that it seems to have "patterns". Has your PC been crashing in any other games or applications? What error is displayed at the Blue Screen?

If it's not that, try to use something like the task manager to monitor your hardware, and see if anything spikes before the crash.

report this on the discord

It only crashes when playing pizza tower and creates no blue screen. The screen goes black while the music continues to play for a second or two and then the computer reboots.

Its what you get for using Windows 11!

Ok dumb joke aside, that ♥♥♥♥ is bad if it crashes so bad the computer needs to restart, I would recommend to report this issue to the devs at the official discord server, they post the link of the server at their official twitter account, you can report it there if you want too.

As everyone else said, please report this to the developers, if this is an issue with the game then it's very serious. I suggest you continue to troubleshoot your computer while you wait for a reply from them.

The way no bluescreen is displays indicates a seriously bad crash, windows was completely unable to even display an error code. The culprit could then be the RAM, harddisk, or a software issue. Please try to run these and see if any issues pop up:

-Open CMD and type in SFC /scannow (be sure to reboot after it completes)

-memtest86 (you'll need to boot this from a USB stick)

-crystaldiskinfo

Apparently it's a windows issue...

If I find a better solution to reinstall windows I'll try to comment on my solution

Updated the nvidia driver and now it takes way longer to crash, so that mitigates it greatly.

Again, dunno if you have done this already, but I do recommend to report this in the official discord's bug report section. since its seems like a big deal.

I reported this issue to the discord about a week or so ago. I've been experiencing these crashes too. Just like here, they determined that it is a Windows 11 issue.

Man Windows 11 is just, interesting to say the least, Im still using Windows 10 and honestly I would have still remained with Win 7 if it wasnt for some application issues.

Finally found what it is, it is an error in the nvidia 3080 graphic cards, it appears to be popping up a lot more in Diablo 4, which made it pop up a video on this issue.

It makes sense when you think about it, the card fails, a blue screen is prompted, but there is no graphic card to render it, so the computer seems to crash and reboot without it.

ah geez that sucks but at least you know its the card's fault. best see about getting that card rma'd if it persists

I have a 3060 and I still have this problem, maybe it's not exclusive to the 3080s

Sounds like a series malfunction.

That sounds bad too, I know the 600 series had those crashes with DX12. So it would not surprise me if this was a nvidia ♥♥♥♥ up
