how do you get a P rank?

are you really suppossed to get like a 100+ combo without getting hit while getting all the secrets and the main treasure while doing the second lap? because I've done that minus the not getting hit part (got hit like 1-2 times) and I still can't seem to get a P rank. you think the developers could lessen the requirement to get that rank alittle bit? trying to do this on the first level is easy enough but later stages get really elaborate and long. I'd feel like you'd go insane if you tackle P ranks for every level.

To add on, You do actually have to start the combo in the first room or else p rank wont activate, hence why every level has a cheeseslime or something in the first room

Can confirm.
On Deep-Dish-9 I had two P-Rank-Runs which were deemed S-Rank because I though that I might as well unlock the path to Lap 2 right away.
Since the screen changed without me being on Combo, I couldn't get P-Rank anymore that attempt, no matter what.

does this mean that you could ignore all enemies and collect everything possible before you start a kill combo right before you start the escape sequence and double lap?

ofc this wouldn't work in all levels. if you have to kill rats blocking the passage but it could work on a lot of levels maybe?

It's really easy in John Gutter and The Crumbling Tower Of Pizza if you just try kinda hard and replay the levels a bit.
