A question about Patreon builds.
Hello, I am planning on purchasing this game sometime within the next few weeks, I've been following this game's development since Demo 2, but have never actually gotten the opportunity to fund the game on Patreon.

From what I've seen and heard, the game has turned out absolutely phenomenal, but with that there have come many changes from previous builds. I was wondering if there's any official means (or officially accepted means) of accessing the Patreon builds as someone who has purchased the full game but never funded the game on Patreon.

I've had a really strong interest in playing the April 2021 Patreon Build sometime after playing the final release, due to stuff such as coop and playable vigilante that didn't make it into the final product (along with a general interest in the changes made to the levels in general + the levels that got scrapped entirely) and was curious if purchasing the game would give me access to this build in some form (or if the developers plan on providing access to Patreon builds at a later date).

Whether or not purchasing the full game also provides access to the Patreon builds that preceded it, I still have full intent on making the purchase, I've been waiting for this game for so many years and wouldn't miss out on it for such a petty reason, but I really wanted to know what exactly I get access to after I buy the game. I hope this all makes sense, this is a really difficult question for me to put into words.

Unfortunately on Steam, there's no official way of checking out what the game was like throughout its development and I don't think it's possible for any newcomer that bought the game now to visit the Patreon-exclusive channels that contained links to the early builds.

I definitely think they should be officially preserved though because seeing how the game has developed over the years before certain features and ideas had to be cut or changed was very fascinating and it feels like a journey to see the game gradually grow into what it is now.

A lot of Patreon-exclusive content is left in the game files. So you can just mod them back in.

Oh, really? I'll have to keep that in mind. Thank you for the reply.

That's a shame, hopefully the developers preserve the Patreon builds in some way in the future, it'd be a shame if they ended up being lost media (a thing that happens way too often with early access versions of completed games).

And yeah, it's definitely interesting to see how much the game has changed and grown throughout the years. Thank you for the quick reply.
Here's where you can access a lot of (if not all) the old builds https://archive.org/details/pizzatowerdemobuildspublic

Make sure to download the zips!
