Bug that blocks me from continueing. I reported it but never saw that it got fixed?

Hey guys,
just wanted to ask if this bug is fixed - 'cause i can't continue if it's not fixed.

I reported a Bug in juli/august, where the game crashes at the point, when you are talking to (aw man i forgot his name) the dude whos really sceptical against the witches and thought you have some dangerous secrets. It's after i got the broom and all the stuff. The location is in the upper city by the elevator. After the Dialogue he drops smth and if i try to collect it, the game crashed everytime. Can't even read what shes saying, 'cause her speechbubble is just white and without any text. I get stuck in this "animation". But i guess the dropped item is for the story tho i have to wait if it get fixed.

Does anyone had the same trouble and some solution or at least can tell me if it got fixed?
Or is this game just abandoned, 'cause the last game update was in Juli and it will never get fixed?

Hey there, this bug will be fixed in the next update. This is a problem with the German localization and you can bypass this bug by picking up what Kajogat drops while having the language set to English, you should be fine to revert it back to German right after the dialogue.

Sorry, I didn't realize the fix for this wasn't included in the last update. I've since focused on a bigger update, which is taking longer than expected, but will come in a few weeks.

I'm playing on Gamepass on version 1.0.7.3B7 P64:1 (That's what it says in the main menu upper right corner).
I have the same bug but I don't see them dropping anything. After my character says "Great?" the screen turns black and I have to quit to menu.
I was playing on german but unfortunately playing on english didn't solve it. I also tried every other language.
Biggest problem is that the quest "Clearing the way" didn't start. Tauno just wasn't there and I can't deliver them anything.
I assume this is related to the other bug.

EDIT: For anyone who has the same bug, I was able to finish the game by continuing to play until I bought the shop and told Hina to move out. Then I talked to Kajogat again and he went away.
After that I could finish the story, but I think I missed a few of Tauno's quests.
