"Not So Great Escape" Prisoner Escape Tunnel

Ok, I've completed the "Not So Great Escape" and entered the prisoner escape tunnel. I am able to open first gate at beginning of tunnel but cannot open gate at end of tunnel. Anyone else having this problem? Is this the 150th glitch in this game? Do I have to wait for Patch 10.1? Help?!?!? Peace

Do you have the prisoner clothes? I've heard there's a bug some people encounter where they can't take the clothes of the dead prisoner.

You could try going to Story in the main menu and loading a slightly earlier save and try entering the tunnel again.

Thanks. Not sure I'm aware of taking old clothes of dead prisoner. Is that where you find the prisoners locked in the trailers at the dock? Also, the earlier save business doesn't do any good because it maintains all your accomplishments up to your current point of play. Also, there is only 3 saves showing and they're all within the last strike point you've played. Thanks again.

MTL5: Just discovered the body you are referring to before you can get thru gate. When I approach body nothing happens. I cannot get body highlighted to take clothes. May have already done it. In any event, cannot get gate opened. Thanks again.

Same problem body wont highlight or door open although have key card at level3

I also have the same problem as maddogjohn. When I go through the escape tunnel in Ashgate and then to the tunnel's gate, after it read the key card the directional locator doesn't go any further in the game so I can get the prisoners clothing.

Have reloaded entire game now going to try again from start

Just reloaded the game myself....made absolutely no difference....still the same problem in the locator not going forth in Ashgate escape tunnel so I can get the prisoner uniform and goto the next stage of the game.

Still playing through from THE VERY START! Just as far as getting a Goliath from the shipyard will post if I get past the body and gate.

Having the same problem here also. Finished the game first time and all was okay..second time highest difficulty level and it's broke..also noticed you have no ability to throw or fire a weapon in this tunnel,, however there is a section of tunnel that you have full control of weapontry! Please find a fix for this as highest difficulty is challenging enough without this problem. Thanks

Yes totally removing local game file and re downloading the game and starting from scratch worked but don't know if it will work at highest difficulty have finished the game twice now and getting a bit bored with all the bugs so just waiting for the new Deus Ex to be released.

I uninstalled it and still same fault in the game....just have to wait for the next bug fix.

Update: Amazingly I've completed the game....don't know how this happened but I'm suspecting it was an MS WIN10 update as a major factor.
