Quest "Finders Seekers" is broken

I don't know what caused it, but I'm absolutely unable to progress in this game, whenever I get down to the bottom of the stairs where I need to find Heather, the door won't open. I've tried reloading the area, going to a different area and then coming back, and even restarting my entire game, but itseems like nothing works.

Is there any fix to this, or did I just waste 6 hours for absolutely nothing?

Try loading an earlier checkpoint from the Story menu. Unfortunately game only keeps four checkpoints in rotation, and if you've fast travelled or something, you've probably overwritten some or all of them.

Unfortunately, I fast traveled too many times trying to fix the problem so I don't have any checkpoints... FML dude, 6 hours of campaign just gone lol

SOLUTION (read the entire thing to understand fully)


I dont know if youve sorted this out but i actually figured out a way. So apparently before you were asked to meet Heather again, you were asked to destroy 4 drones or planes. I destroyed 4 of them and return back to Heathers, and the thing happens where i cannot proceed, so i restarted from the last checkpoint. Now, I noticed something.----- THE DRONES/PLANES AND THE LAUNCH PADS ARE NOT DESTROYED----- although Ive destroyed it before i met heather again, it actually is not destroyed yet. so I suggest you to:

-Restart to last checkpoint

-find again the launch pads of the planes (there are 4) all around lombard

-and finally return to heather.

Now, each of these launch pads are vulnerable to hacks, so I did hack about 2 of it, only to be unsure at the end and manages to literally destroy 4 of them.
When I return to Heather, It works, Heather starts her dialogue and stuff.
Now I cant be 100% sure that it will work for 100% of people that has the same problem but, It works for me and I hope it works for u 2. Goodluck!
