How do you use the remote bomb?

I have it unlocked but can't figure out how to acess it, all I see is the normal pipe bomb.

If you're using a keyboard, just press g again and it should switch between them

My problem is. When I try to denote a remote bomb, it doesn't work. I tried using keyboard/mouse, and also a 360 controller. It just won't seem to denote.

I'm guessing my game is glitched, but I'm way too far into the campaign to start over.

Press and hold Q, choose explosive in the radial menu. Press G to cycle through the kind of explosive you want (or 5, or 5 on your mmo mouse), when on the remote bomb (in one hand you have a sticky explosive and the other your phone), just press left mouse to throw the explosive, then press right mouse to use your phone as a remote to make the explosion.

Thx! I had a similar problem after not playing the game for a long time.
I reconfigured almost all of the keys, so I couldn't remember which function the right mouse button was assigned to.
Here for all of those who might need a reminder:
