90 FOV?

Anyone know how to configure CryEngines FOV to go above the 65?

That gets me half way there, but where is the Homefront Revolution config file? Do youy know? Im getting saick playing this game but Im actually really enjoying it!

Works great. open system.cfg, add this line after the end

cl_fov=90

and optionally to adjust viewmodel/weapon first person fov also (not needed)

r_DrawNearFOV=75

I wouldn't go too too high on the viewmodel fov, since it only affects the first person weapons and then animation errors/clipping will happen.

you're misleading people here.
this games CVARS for CL_FOV doesn't go beyond 80 just like crysis 3 had it locked at 80.

you can put any value you want ex. 100-200 it's only going to open to 80

Thats why it still felt a bit off when I played it...but at least is better than 65!

Good thread, now if someone can tell me how to unlock those damn pak files, i could start digging around in them, but 7zip didn't work, winrar didn't work, changing it to a zip and opening it didn't work, packdragon didn't work, i'm kind of at a loss here, any ideas?

Ive tried everything myslef too, theres a thread somewhere that I read that a bunch of people are brainstorming on it so they can patch things and whatnot!

i've found several references to people having decrypted them, i just can't figure out who or where it was because i'm not kewl enough. I'm about to start checking some of the Crysis3 CVARS and see if anything else will work, but i'm not hoping for much from it. I'll throw you a buddy and we can try and keep each other updated?

Thanks i'll fix mine when i get it, i get motion sickness below 75 so 80 should be fine.

if they patch the game and unlock the Cvars I might consider buying the game again once it's cheaper. I'm just releaved to have gotten a refund
