Different sound language than subtitles?

Heyho!

Is it possible to activate different languages ingame?
I would like to play with english sounds (voices) but with german subtitles, because the german voices are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying...

Is someone knowing, how to change this? :)

The game is fantastic, but a little Far Cry 3 clone (also some names :D)

The Storyline is fantastic, but to short and to less informations about the background story...

If you've got a twitter account, you might want to send a tweet to the Dambuster twitter about the situation. They definitely do read tweets. There's probably some complex engine stuff involved with why subtitles and dialogue are tied together, but it can't hurt bringing it to their attention.

The issue doesn't really seem to be the subtitle language, per se. It seems like players in non-English speaking countries sometimes want to play the game with localised text, but the original English voice acting. Often because they dislike the voice actors in the dub and or some such.

It's kinda like STALKER fans who like to play the game with the original Russian voice acting.

It's kinda ironic because Dambuster/Deep Silver obviously spent a fair bit of money dubbing all the dialogue into six or seven different languages, but some people want the original English dialogue with localised subtitles.

edit: I think it'd be a nice feature for people in those countries, but I understand that it could be a fair bit of work - work that could be better put fixing bugs.

There are lots of games where it's possible to choose a different subtitle (and text) language.
It doesn't matter how many players need it because it takes just minutes to implement it.

Alernatively, don't be so greedy and spent some money on decent dubbing. The german version for instance is an utterly laughable s*itshow.

I gave the game a bad review because of this. It has been removed and i can't even post an alternative review. The lack of communication from the devs, their censoring, and inability to add this feature are absolutely pathetic.

This is your last chance to add this or i'll get an "alternative version" as soon as it's "released".
