Patch 2.0 Progress
Since the launch of Homefront: The Revolution we have released multiple patches and updates, mainly focusing on critical issues and the 'save stall' issue, but we have also achieved some performance improvements as this recent analysis by Digital Foundry shows.

Nonetheless, we are continuing to work on performance, and this is the primary focus for our next major update, 2.0, which is currently scheduled for August. This will introduce further significant improvements to frame rate, as well as additional bug fixes and reduction of save stalls down to a minimum.

The whole team at Dambuster Studios appreciates everybody’s patience and continued support for Homefront: The Revolution.

Think of adding suppressors guys, why have them in Resistance Mode but not in Singleplayer? This wouldn't even take long to implement! Would be great if you could include that.

The sigle player has got a surpressor.

Calm down they have supported the game since day 1 and so far have deleivered fixes and this next patch will be one to hopefully clean up all of the remaining optimization issues and bugs
I have weird glitches with the shadows at the end of the game :S.
I hope this patch fixes the damn flickering shadows and blinding oversaturation of light indoors and please give us a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crosshair for hipfiring weapins!!!

Optional crosshairs wouldn't hurt. It would also help reduce motion sickness for people prone to it. But I personally think the lack of crosshairs is good. It's a throwback to GoldenEye and TimeSplitters 2.

They did say "August". That's a month's span. It would be really annoying if it slipped into September, though.

On SteamDB, you can see that the game's testing branches are updated every few days. There's also, curiously a branch marked "corsair testing".

Flickering shadows? I haven't seen any flickering shadows. Oversaturation of light? Sounds like something on your end.

crosshair for hip firing isn't necessary from what I experienced since hipfiring in Homefront is unreliable unless you are point blank due to spread.

The damn shadows and light problem started with the last patch and it couldn't be a hardware problem as I'm running the game on a i7-6700K 4GHz CPU with 64 gigs of ram and SLI Titan X's

SLI might explain it -_-

SLI and Crossfire GPU setups have problems like this all the time and might explain it. Also try adjusting any settings relating to shadows or disable SLI and see if it happens.

When a game undergoes optimization fixes problems with drivers can occur from time to time I myself use a GTX 960 playing the game with no frame drops shadow flickering or lighting issues. My money is on SLI configuration for Nvidia and Crossfire if people use AMD GPUs

I'm running a single Titan X and I had some shadow flickering.
Please fix the ally ai, i want to kill them so badly for standing in my way so many damn times!
As well as the enemy patrol trucks getting stuck sideways in doorways and exploding.
