Black Screen Workaround Fix

Thanks to machine4578 for the fix. Basically, some people aren't correctly receiving the engine files. The developers have changed the game's depot system, and it looks like due to how the game was sold with various regional editions and keys and such, there's an issue. I think Europeans are probably affected more than Americans, for example.

The solution, until the developers fix it.

Copy "engine" folder into "Homefront_The_Revolution" main directory.

devs or publisher forgot to add depot Windows - Engine (223106) to the pre-order packages

the last time they fixed the problem with the DLC after half a year, so don't expect that they have learned something

It only took them an hour to fix the Freedom Fighter bundle yesterday. So hopefully they'll address this today.

Can you explain the issue in more detail? Maybe post some screenshots? There's an issue which affects some AMD CPUs where none of the main menu icons appear.

I'm affected with game crush in Simpson's execution cutscene. All is going right, but in the middle of Parish speech cutscene is (probably going to the next cutscene) and bang, game is crushing leaving me with undertexture screen and can't do nothing; only ctrl alt delete

You should probably make a thread about it, and try to get Craig Turner's attention. He'll probably give you a place to upload your save files for analysis.

These files only blacken the game, completely destroys the ingame lighting, colours go out of wack. This was pretty stupid to share and upload OP stuffing peoples games up
