there is but no solo option

This game's community is eventually gonna die, and then Resistance Mode will be useless. Hopefully I'll have characters strong enough to solo everything by that point.

Solo the Triage mission. Much of it can be done with careful stealth (ignore the radio nag messages; you'll get your supplies when I'm darn well good and ready) and you can hit the mission checkpoints fairly quickly so, even if you die, you'll get credit for 40-60% complete. The couple times you need to fight vehicles, you can do so from second story windows to snipe the yellow fuel tanks.

Even when you die, you get xp and coin for what you accomplished. Buy a weapons crate when you can to expand your options. Spend xp on the stealth options (reduced sound and sight). If you have the Freedom Fighter/Season Pass version you should have some decent starting gear as well so don't forget to suit up. Eventually you'll get better at it and be able to try new missions, returning to Triage to farm it when you want to get more xp/coin. Or maybe you'll find a new favorite but Triage is the one that works best for me.

Once you have a new weapon or two, don't forget to buy some attachment crates. A new scope or silencer for your weapon is worth more than getting every gun.

No, this isn't an intentional "solo mission" and I wouldn't expect them to add any. But it's a good way to enjoy the Resistance mode when you don't have friends to co-op with.

i like easy to do and no challenge i find it fun, when somthing happens i can't do without losing i don't feel the rewarding and i get angry i havent acomplished what i wanted, i'm fine with challenges when i got help. also i'm not talking about angry management, just anger that i can't do the mission solo on easy, in the end i might have to use RL cash to get the box's when i got the silncers then it will be easyer, when u defend a area and u get swamped by 20+ and u can't run and hide and shoot and have to keep running to avoid them, does get abit sticky

I wouldn't bother buying the crates but that's up to you. Learning the map and objectives will help you out a lot more than crates to start. If you're getting swarms of twenty KPA, a slightly better gun isn't going to save you; you need to learn to avoid getting 20+ people after you.

the proplem with the 20+ is sometimes i need to defend a objective and can't avoid it, once i attacked a patrol seemed ok 3 humans 2 small drones, suddely a goliath apperd managed to kill it but died shortly after
No amount of gear or leveling will make the game better for you if you don't play smartly.
This is not a shooter that you can face roll through.
You literally (not figuratively) have to think about the "long game".

Tips:

1. Avoid Patrols. All of them. No reason to get into fights that aren't at the OBJ.
2. Don't linger longer than you have to. Get in, do what you came to do, get out.
3. Don't get stuck into one line of thinking. Be versatile. Adapt to the situation as it unfolds.

Thats how I play, I play solo alot, but it isn't too bad.

That's why I recommended Triage to start. There's only two "Defend the point" parts and both have ally NPCs helping (and all four are indestructible in the first part and the last guy is indestructible in the second). Plus, both defend portions allow you to get to a second story and shoot in relative safety provided you pay minimal attention. Also, it's a good spot for plinking vehicle gas tanks or throwing hack tools.

The other parts can be stealthed or, if you find yourself with a mess of enemies after you, you can run and try another location or just come back from a different direction. You can always grab and run -- each spot has four collectibles in close proximity so you just snatch then and beat feet out of there. Plus each location is a checkpoint so even if you died between medicine locations #2 and #3, you'll still get credit for 50%.

(I'm speaking on Easy mode; I don't know if the NPCs can be killed on the harder settings)
