"Goliath Schematics" - possible fix if you're stuck (slight spoilers)

(Ran into this problem and tried searching for a solution on Google, but didn't really find anything, so I'll just put this here in case it can help other people).

In this mission you're supposed to shoot three marked ceiling tiles in order to find a schematic hidden above one of them (from what I've read, it's apparently random which one hides it).

However, if you like liberating zones before progressing the story, or you've just explored, you may have shot the tiles before starting the mission, in which case the tiles fall down, but the schematic doesn't appear. And when you then start the mission, the tiles are on the floor and there's nothing to shoot (well, I tried shooting, and grenading, the spaces that had been covered by the tiles and a food item actually appeared. No schematic, though), so it seems you're stuck.

Before loading an old save, and potentially rolling back hours of playing, try shooting the ceiling tiles that are now on the floor. For me, this caused the schematic to spawn (under the tile, so I had to shoot again to move the tile in order to photograph the schematic to end the mission).


(Note: I did all this in one playing session. I don't know if the position of the tiles is stored when you save the game after shooting the tiles, but before starting the mission. Perhaps it's not, in which case restarting the game and loading the save might restore the tiles to their original position on the ceiling).

You're lucky to go back to the older saves. Not me, run out of auto saves. The schematic is there, taking a photo shot did not work.
