Respawn armored cars in a secrued zone ?

Hello

I want to destroy 5 armored car in the zone to get the Tech point (or whatever it is called).

But the zone is completly secured, and I can't find any car anywhere.

I tried to get spotted by the Zepllin, but it only sends me soldiers and Wolverines.

Any idea ?

Those cars are gone, its not a bug. But relax, you get more tech points. You can purchase everything, and you still have unspent tech points at the end of the game.

For info, I went back to Elmtree sometimes and once, there was an armored car not far from the armory safe house; it has been destroyed by NPC and I got my 5th destroyed car.

So maybe it is the solution : spamming fast travels in and out.

Other solution is to destroy all armored cars you need BEFORE securing all the area : )

I am having a very similar issue: the Elmtree zone is NOT compltely secure, but halfway there. What is more interesting, right now I have only two cars destroyed, one of them from a story mission. Any ideas how to spawn them, like camping particular places or some particular behavior?

I tried staying on the highway and stay in airship light fro 15+ minutes while angering the KPAs below, then I ran out of ammo, but only infantry came. WHile I was making my way back, a wolverine spawned, but no armored cars :( Could it be related to total game progress?

With 5/14 areas secured i have found the best way to get them to spawn is to

A) Quit to main menu near neds armory
B) Load in and grab a bike from a nearby blue container stash
C) Ride the bike towards the west end of the map passing along the north road above Elm tree dry dock, i have had 2 spawn here, one above the dry dock and another west of the dry dock, took a few quit to main menus for it to work.

I can confirm that this method works. Two armored patrols (one in convoy) may spawn, but for some reason sometimes it will despawn in front of you if you can't attack it in time.

Locations where the armored convoy or armored patrol will spawn based on my experience:
1.)Diagonal road in between Elmtree Dry Dock and Finstock Warehouse. (Convoy/Patrol)
2.)Near the trap on the same diagonal road. (Convoy/Patrol)
3.)Road east of Finstock Warehouse. (Convoy)

Fastest way to spot and attack the convoy/patrol is to exit Ned's Armory through the south exit. Get a bike from the nearest Bike Stash upon exit and pass through the dirt road south of Finstock warehouse. From the dirt road you can already spot a stuck armored patrol or a convoy exiting the diagonal road and it may have a chance to despawn in front of you.

If the armored patrol spawned in the diagonal road. After destroying it, pass through the road near OCU Pharma then head through the road in the direction of the armory and the armored convoy may spawn on the road east of Finstock Warehouse.

This may take a lot of quit to menus for it to work. Most of the time the patrol/convoy despawned in front of me and I have 2/14 strikepoints.

As of writing this comment this method still works, for me at least. I destroyed 3 Armored cars by playing normally, and seeing them spawn naturally. Two of the armored cars I destroyed both spawned fairly close south-east of the the Elmtree Dry Dock. One on the trap between the nearby bike stash and the hidden stash, and one of the ramp leading down towards the river. One of the armored cars I destroyed was part of the mission to find the lost patrol. One was randomly destroyed by an NPC and I got credit for it (I never even saw it), and the last one was where the APC that is apart of the mission where you have to get the guns out of the armory spawns, you could see from the entrance of the bus you have to enter to get to Ned's safehouse. It was not part of the mission seeing how I hadn't even made it to Earlston when I destroyed it, it just spawned there naturally. I hope these locations help anyone with the same problem. huge cheers to the guy who's reply I quoted and the guy's reply he quoted. Don't think I would've been able to do this without their help.
