Side jobs

I find the side jobs difficult, so I'll use this thread for whenever I get sick of trying to work them out. I just don't understand what I'm supposed to do.

Shift Patterns: Identify KPA soldiers guarding doorways - compound doors. I'm in Ashgate, no doorways being guarded, but of course I might just be blind or maybe I just don't know what a compound is? Please help.

Just fire off distractive eeh stuff and they'll finally spawn after a while.

Now: Seek and destroy. Apparently the only time I managed to take 2 out was when the hack device exploded (and killed them) right beneath a seeker that got hacked in the same explosion. Otherwise it doesnt fire off any shots other than being shot at from the kpa soldiers. Maybe use distractive stuff again and mix it all up. Side jobs are the hardest part of this game. Holding me back.

Gotta admit those secondary objectives are a pain to work through. The NPC sometimes either don't spawn right, or not at all after you've liberated the sector. Helluva nightmare for those completionists.

now I'm stuck at this side mission. Tried to throw GTK at the seeker but it just exploded and KPA ran away. Any proper way to do this? or else mate, would you mind to do a video walkthrough for this side job, please?

GTK? I throwed an upgrade of the hack device, the one where it will hack the seeker when it comes near it. I could try to do it one more time, but I don't have the time tonight

Also you could try to actually hit it with the hack device, I think that'll get it to not explode and also work quicker before the kpa reacts to it.

Thanks mate, finally I completed the side job! So I just stay far from the KPA troops, then waiting for the seeker to go near them and throw the hack device, boom, and killed KPA guys.
It will be much easier to get this done in early stage of the Holloway Red Zone. Usually the game will spawn 1-2 KPA guys to investigate the motorbike near the starting point of the area.

you are welcome! Let me know about other sidejobs, they are a real pain. Also, i'm having a break almost the entire july month but pls update on sidejobs :P It's probably gonna be a hassle when I return..

throw hack devices at the much bigger tank like vehicles. EZ, took 3 different tanks because only 3-4 guys spawn around the tank.
