How to equip LMG ( Light machine gun)

So i bought this gun. But idk how to equip it. I tried the conversion of the marksman rifle but i dont see it there either ?

T to put on the light without gun....

Assault Rifle is modified into LMG. The game taught you how to turn your pistol into an SMG. Press X, select main weapon module.

I dont see the option to convert to LMG on assult rifle. All it has is Freedom launcher, Marksman rifle... No LMG

The Assault Rifle turns into:
LMG
Limpet Mine Launcher

The Battle Rifle turns into:
Marksman Rifle
Freedom Launcher

You need to go to a weapon locker to change your loadout. You're describing the Battle Rifle, not the Assault Rifle.

^^ this. The light machinegun is one of the best weapons, frankly speaking I don't understand why they made the assault rifle so mediocre compared to the LMG.

The LMG does more damage and has MUCH greater ammo capacity. Fully upgraded, you can only carry 180 rounds for the assault rifle which runs out really quickly when you're dealing with mobs of heavies.
