What happend to Benjamin Walker in beyond the walls?

So we free Benjamin Walker at the end of aftermath but then is nowhere to be seen in beyond the walls he is not even mentiond in passing, Is there a note or something I missed that explains what happend to him between the dlc?

No. He basically just disappears from the story. Unclear why. Apparently BTW is based on an early version of Homefront: TR's storyline, so perhaps we're meant to view this as an alternate timeline where he wasn't saved or something.

There is an unused speech given by Walker that was replaced by Parrish's version.

That unused speech is intresting it seems like it was going to be used when they had more clear plans for a sequel.
