Longway new quest

I've completed the Dutch gambit quest and Longway is in my crew. I then did the Caleuche quest. It's now been almost 1 year in the game but Longway's new quest still doesn't trigger. i stop to all port. Is this normal?

And another constatation, Longway can't equip mushket despite he have skirmisher skill

Go to Turks and go deeper. U will be attacked by mercs. Read dialogues and later write here or in game do some screenshots what to do next.

I tested your solution and tried it for the next 2 months. Nothing happens

I got to it while doing Long way to the gallows. Went to turks to find treasure that portugese pointed.

So basically one day you are in the deep jungle, and a group of mercs from the League will attack you. I've just encountered this a month after the Dutch Gambit.

I believe you may need Murdock's archive for the quest to trigger. I may be wrong though, and the archive might just be a bonus, but let's see.
