cant really remember but i know the original CoAS has it not the Sea Dog one or was it an even older game been more than 10 years since i play it so hard to say but im sure my Flag ship was Arabella a Frigate i took escaping enslavement i think
I think there were a couple tweaks but for me Hook's Mod did two things. First, it slowed down time on the global map, making achieving time objectives much more possible. Second, it offered you the ability to change the wind direction (basically, randomly re-roll it) when you first entered the battle map, so if the wind was coming from a bad direction for you, you could change it. That wind change would carry over to the global map. Either one of these changes made the game much more enjoyable, and together they were very nice.
I get the game is meant to be challenging. But there is a big difference between being challenged and being frustrated.
yeah i think i did like i said been so long since the last time i played this type of game while i barely post i was active in Pirates Ahoy during that time
