Almost done story tutorial but...

I think I'm almost done the story tutorial I think. At the point where I'm buying supplies for my ship. Everything I leave the shop I get throw in jail for piracy at first I thought it was ment to happen buy my guy just sits there intill I turn it off. Any help would be appreciated I don't want to start over.

- What OS do you have?
- Is your local time set correctly?
- Do you have a file that starts with "act_" in My Documents\My Games\Caribbean Legend\SaveData ? If not, try starting the game again till the main menu and see if it appears.

ive got same issue, on the exact spot, when leaving for supplys, ive tried to reload previos game and it did not happen next time, just i dont know what supplies should i get now, ive got medicine, rum and food, and clothes, but guy at the tavern still says i do not have the resources yet, then when i tried to go back to store to buy more stuff game send me to jail when presing enter.

windows 10, my local time is fine, and i dont have that file , ive got SaveData directory empty

Yeah I don't know any of that. Should I just refund it is it broken?

No, something seems to block the game's internet connection which is required for first run (as stated in the System Requirements).
