Stuck after Tutorial

So I'm playing the story mode and was doing the tutorial stuff. After everything was done the journal tells me to go to the shipyard to pick up my lugger and travel to Martinique.
However the shipyard is closed. So is the Tavern. So I cant speed up time or anything. Currently it is 03:30 PM ingame and most places are closed, except the trader.

Is there anything I'm missing?

I'm having the exact same issue, cant do anything in starter city now.

So I did do the quest for the Trader, looking for his assistant, getting him a new one, as well as procuring an escort for the gentleman. Doing these quests opened up the brothel and tavern. So I could rent a room. The next day i can visit the shipyard.

I think it should have been more clearly, that doing those quests isn't really optional.

Yeah, you are right. The tutorial will be further optimized in the future,

I have arrived back from Le Francois with the new assistant for the trader but now the store is closed.

Guys, after the ♥♥♥♥♥ and smuggle mission you have to wait until morning, then the shipyard open its gates.
you can ask in the tavern to stay the night or press enter and wait until morning.

I cannot get into tavern to wait.

I reloaded an earlier save and am now able to proceed. Doing side missions opens up the closed places.

Tyler. check your mission log. You have to do everything by word. No step left or right. The game punish you for every uncommon decision.
