You can play Sid Meiers Pirates on steam?
Nice!!
Thanks for the tip
As MoonClipper said you can try the free Sandbox version to see if it's something you might enjoy.
Go to Hooked on Pirates page and they have some cool mods as well
I'm not a big fan of having a player or Pirate walk around towns and trying to talk to people. I want to talk to maybe 2 or 3 people and go.
I was downloading the Sandbox version then I found Sid Meiers Pirates again, they have pretty cool mods on Nexus and a site called Hooked on Pirates like, HD mods and Pirates of the Tropicana "Pirates of the Tropicana has some nudity in it" or Brethren of the Coast, think Pirates of the Tropicana is Brethren of the Coast? they also have some flags mods and I might try the Europe one
I was looking at some reviews and some of the play and I'm not really sure if I'd like it or not?
I'm a big fan of Total War games and turn based games, but Sid Meiers Pirates was always a very fun game for me and this game is nothing like that game.
I want a game that adds the ability to capture settlements and convert them to Pirate nests or hideouts or colonies, also like looking for buried treasure, like ship battles and also would love to see land battles.
I might try this game some day who knows, I'll be watching some of the reviews and play throughs that will be coming out.
