After I hit "start tutorial" the shipyard/tavern/brothel/chapel/loans are all closed. I've walked around the whole island and there's nothing to do. The objective says go to shipyard but it's closed. Is this a bug? If so this is a pretttttty significant bug and I mean...do I have to skip the tutorial now? I was pretty pumped for this game but man dude...already within first 20 min I'm hitting things like this.

EDIT: Even skipping the tutorial it's all closed. Wtf do I do? Is this supposed to be a part of it? The mission tells me to go to the shipyard. I did the fort mission with the guard and wine. I sold the earrings from the dead body in the jungle. I have nothing else to do and nobody has anything to say. I'm getting incredibly frustrated at just walking around with everything closed in this small town and not able to even get my ship. Please tell me if this is intended or not.

Btw is there a way now to recruit Mary or Helen a bit earlier instead of it happening at the very end of the game?

With Mary's recruitment bordering on "Needs a guide to find her" as she was easily missed.

Also are there more options to complete quests now? Especially via dialogue due to having charm/luck/navigation stat high enough to convince NPCs to do as we say?

the movement + camera are really really clunky so bad i become a bit motion sickness xD
i played POC as Kid and it feels at this time clunky to .... but for 2024 its not that good sry... do you dont have the Sourcecode from the Storm Enigne to improve?
it would push the game for real if you update the controlls

i have refund it for now ... but i would love to play it .. i will watch for future updates mabye you patch the movement + camera like a modern game ... for now its not possble for me .... the graphics its not the problem for me its the controlls.

Some improvements that should be added:
- Add option to disable camera swaying/head bobbing.
- Add a slider for field of view. The default view doesn't look good on a ultrawide monitor.
- A rework of the camera and general controls would be good. As it is, the character is just unpleasant to manouvre around.

I followed SeaDogs from very beginning, when it was not even in Caribbean. I would say the Storm engine is sucks for now. You should upgrade to get better performance. Second, Multi-language support is also required definitely. I know it would cost some, but believe or not, it absolutely shall bring in much more buyers.

every time I go to port, I get convicted of crimes of piracy. I had the same problem in the demo but not in the free sandbox version.

Theres annoying bug at the end of Carribean in a nutshell questline. After talking with shopkeeper about your reward, if you choose first dialog option (rude one) you will get a reward but the quest will get stuck in your logbook. It works well if you talk to him politely and pick up reward at the lighthouse. Also if you dont have enough carry weight to receive 400 doublons, quest will end but you will not get doublons.
