Pay the harbourmaster for information regarding the Lady Beth. Afterwards, I think all you have to do is follow her to a deserted island, where all hell will break loose.
Its bugged for me. Ship is looping in place in front of saint Christopher and there is nothing I can do to it. :/

You cannot try to push it out?

Usually that happens when there are multiple ships in the area.

The ship for me seems to be at Saint Pierre but just sitting beyond the fort / port not doing anything. I have got the information which also does not appear in the journal entry for legendary ships. It shows blank and no writing in the entry.

Also cannot launch a ship over to the Lady Beth either. Does not do anything.

Not sure what the quest trigger is exactly but I am lvl 10 aswell for the recommendation before tackling it.

It's not a quest... it's an event.

You're supposed to follow the ship until it reaches a certain deserted island.

Mine does not leave the location or map, thus I cannot follow it.

Anyone know how the event actually starts once you have the information from harbour master?

To start the event you must find blackwood and talk with him in the tavern room. Then you can follow him around and talk to him 2 more times in different points where he will state cayman is his. Then you can follow him to cayman to start the rest of the event

ok, thx. Is he in the tavern of the town, where his ship is cruising in front ?

Of course. Otherwise where will he be?

I had this guy show up in the middle of a timed quest when I needed more crew, so I had no choice to ignore the ship. Does he spawn again, or am I borked for this playthrough?

He'll be around forever until you choose to kill him.

Cool. Then I will circle back later. I assume the quest scales for difficulty?

Hmmm... according to the game's codes, his HP is based on your character's level. His skills are all maxed out just like the captain of the Holy Mercy.

His men have 40HP, while his officers probably have randomly set HP.

I'll muddle through and see how it goes.

Just remember to bring lots of firearms that shoot AoE ammo and enjoy the carnage.
