Game does not launch!
I've been trying to play it, but it keeps crashing. It opens a CMD and just crashes and goes back to Steam. I've verified the game's files, but no luck so far. Any suggestions?

Check your log files, see if anything interesting appears.

Documents\My Games\Caribbean Legend

then open the error log file.

Did you mess with the LAi_login.c file that's located in the Program\Loc_ai folder?

Anyway, go to line 296 of that file, find out what's wrong. Invalid syntax means you missed out on punctuation, word or whatever. Maybe you missed out on a semi-colon, idk.

I'm sorry, I may sound dumb... but I have absolutely no idea what you have just said. I never mess with files, all I do is download mods. Maybe I did mess without any intention. Sorry.

Probably an issue with the mod then. Try uninstalling the mod and see if the problem is fixed.

Also you don't even sound dumb. There's no need to put yourself down just because you don't know something.
