I've finished the game twice by now,and the rewards from Aruba quite make the difference.Since the last update,with the addition of the Pink to the unique ships I thought I might keep the ship from the Dutch Gambit.When I went to Aruba with the Pink he said while it's unique it was too easy to get,and to talk to him after doing more chores for him.The question is,after I do the side quest for him,will he accept the Pink?Becouse I really like the unique ships.especially the ones from the Dutch Gambit.Last playthrough I gave up the Flying Heart just to be able to keep the Valkyrie my favorite ship.

Yeah, wasn't that a bummer? The devs trolling us once again. I had already finished his first minor task yet it was not enough for him. Capturing 30 captains is a doable but time consuming. Getting Adder stones is annoying and even more time consuming, but still tolerable. HOWEVER, there's simply no way I am going to give him the Milano Cuirass.

You can always get another Milano Cuirass from: Regatta, MoW when saving Saint-Pierre (on Very Hard & Impossible) & sacking high-value colonies.

However the Khopesh is a one-off thing, and once upgraded, is an overpowered weapon lol. Imagine doing 400 damage with a crit heavy attack, and it's a medium weapon.

The pink ship is a very poor ship, i nice and all and i know is considered a reliq but "umpractical" and "quite old " low tecnology ship inside the game but even so... since the adeline got THAT improved in CL i just don't see any advantage of using any other 5 class ship (maybe a coulevrine sloop). Some stats needs to be reworked on the pink i think.

Yeah, the Pink is utter garbage. Yes, it has more deadweight and cannons, but it sails terrible compared to the Adeline. Granted, it's not upgraded like our favorite Lugger, but I just don't see the value in wasting resources upgrading it when I would be switching ships anyway.

Nevertheless, I will try and see if I can finish Aruba's minor tasks before trying to give him the Pink again

Still trying but for the life of me, I can barely get any Adder Stones. Even quest ships sometimes don't generate them, and while I'm already halfway through to 30 captive captains, it's still a way off as I don't game all day lol.

Bay of Peril, enter the jungles from 7pm onwards. Have fun with RNG

The Indians may drop those adder stones. Took me an hour to collect 60 of those, and it was through savescumming.

Thanks for the tip! I will check it out some time but I can confirm that all you need is to fulfill just two of the minor tasks and Aruba accepts the Pink as a sacrifice. I ended up collected 30 captains which is quite easy by preying on weaker ships, thin their crew with grapeshot, then board. The captain usually surrenders unless its a quest ship.

The other task is obviously finding his bride

Plz help. I fulfilled 2 minor tasks (30 captains and 113 adder stones) then I delivered the Pink and I paid 2500 dublons and then an other 25000 dublons. In order to get the weapon from Aruba, do I need to fulfill all minor quests ??? and where do I find the woman he wants ???

Woman can be found in Santiago, Santo Domingo and San Juan. The third woman you talk to will always be the right one.

You'll need to complete all the major and minor tasks to get the Khopesh, which will be on the floor in some corner of the temple.

they are in spanish cities at governor house in one side rooms. There can be more then one in one place. And the third one you ask will be it. The other two will call the city guards so you will need to run out of town. But even returning and asking the other one (or maybe even the same) will work.

Not sure if it's random or not, but I had none in Havana and Santiago. And 2x2 in Santo Domingo and San Juan so I grabbed mine in those cities.

How do you get 30 captains realistically? Pirate ships don't seem to surrender (and they seem to scale). And attacking so many random ships seems like it'd be a huge reputation hit?

Just target the smallest ships,they almost always surrender.Then release the crew.Quite easy.Besides many a times you find drifters at sea.This along with the bride are the easiest quests from Aruba

Also not sure if fame and charisma play a factor in making people surrender. I've had many class 2 ships surrender to my class 4.
