Black Pearl Mod?

I have put a *ton* of hours into COAS, like about 300 worth over the years, and my fav mod and ship to use was Gentlemen of Fortune and the Black Pearl, if anyone knows of another who can mod that ship into the game *properly* or has already done so, I am all ears!

There's not a whole lot of mods for the game as most of the code is not available. If it's not on the steam workshop then there's not much chance of finding it elsewhere at the moment. If you want modded experience you're best off sticking to COAS for the time being, it will be a while before modding for this game really takes off, if at all.

On a more helpful note, there is the Caleuche in this game, which serves the same narrative purpose as the Black Pearl in previous games. It's a hulking ghost ship that you can capture for yourself at the end of a mid-game questline. That's about as close as you'll get for the time being.

Appearance wise... the closest thing to the Black Pearl is the El Casador. Or at least it reminds me of it a lot. Sad the Caleuche is the Flying Dutchman... considering I don't particularly like the appearance of the ship even when fixed up IMO. Black Pearl enjoyer, that's me.

Is it that Flying Dutchman quest from COAS? If it *isn't*, how to I get to this quest and what level should I be?

The quest starts around the mid-game. 6 months after the Dutch Gambit.

There are several mods compatible with the game on Corsair Harbor,it's a russian site.There are several Black Pearl Mods there.
