finished the dutch gambit, have charlie knippel and everything, moored the mirage at some port, came back to maltese's dungeon to michel, already have de million pesos, and he keep saying that line.... in capsterville the door to de poincy is locked... maybe i forgot to do something? finished dutch gambit a looong time ago, hope didn't mess up the game haha. thanks for your replies

in saint pierre there's a guy named Jacques Dille do Parquet... I've travelled to Saint Pierre but the governor in the first room isn't de poincy, and the room to the right is locked.

Once you've finished dutch gambit and returned to your brother with the million pesos, he will direct you to speak to Poincy. You then travel to Capsterville and speak with the governor, informing him of your visit, and he will direct you to the next room to speak with Poincy. Can you tell me what part of that has not triggered?

shame that i can't share screenshots, but in the maltese order's prison michel says "What else, Charles? I think we've discussed everything. Time is money, dear brother - make haste!" and I can only answer "Yes, yes, off I go..." as mentioned before completed dutch gambit and have 1mill. pesos in my pocket, tried retrieving mirage from port royal (was moored there), and having exact 1.000.000 in my pockets, but nothing changes, he keeps saying the same thing.

I think you may not have finished Dutch Gambit then, what was the last thing you did?

oh! here I've travelled to see de poincy, and talking with Herman Patry now he has the open dialog option "I want to see Chevalier de Poincy. It's about my brother's debt" so I don't have to talk to michel first after finished the dutch gambit... maybe they changed it from sea dogs T.E.H.O.

Ok, you missed the step where you talk to the governor then, got it. Pretty sure you still spoke to Michel he just only says the dialogue once.

I'm also having a MASSIVE issue with the FTJR quest line . I finally after FTJR trading for dummies two days worth of reloads and resets completed that mission and found the caravan however not at its told cords but over 15x15 away from the cords . So cords where 24.30 North x 64.40 West however the caravan in all honesty was at 39.N x 79.W in any case its finished so this is just to let folks know its not always at its said cords . but now I'm having a massive issue .I don't recall the name of this mission i'm very far along now but Trex tells me to get a warship a 2nd or 3rd rate no higher no lower ok well guess what as soon as I got this quest EVERY SHIP in the game is mirroring mine meaning every ship on the game map and every ship that can be bought from the shipwright are all first rate 56 cannon they even have all the same stats as my ship I do mean EVERY ship in the world now is my ship even the pirate ships .I don't know what to do Im at a loss here because when I show up with my first rate hes like OMG what are you doing I said a warship not an armada lmfao that was funny but I cant do this quest now .Do I maybe reload all the way back to before this quest line and buy a 3rd rate I mean I don't know what to do and the sad thing is from as far as I know this by finishing FTJR is the only way you can thin re talk to your brother and this sets you up with Helen in Bluewield if I'm not mistaken

You can't go higher than class 2 for that mission. Get a heavy galleon it's pretty ideal for the job. Even if you fail though you can just return to Michel and start pirate saga, ftjr is optional.

No idea what that other thing you described is.
