Weapon Balance

best balance for a weapon is 2? my boarders seem to equip any weapon with a high balance

it depends on weapon type and how do you use it.
Generally 0 is good for stabing RMB) and fient(shift + MMB).
2 is good for slashing (LMB) and power strike(MMB)

so make sure your axes, sabers and swords are close to 2 and rapiers are close to 0. The opposite is useless.

Sabers/Cutlasses are best between 1.0 and 1.5.

If you don't plan to stab with them(why would you?), 2.0 will deal more damage with slashes.

Really? I thought LMB/Slash does best with 1.0-1.5, MMB/Heavy Attack does best with 2.0 and RMB/Poke does best with 0.0.

That's what the game hint says:
"Чем меньше значение баланса, тем ниже урон пробивающих и рубящих атак, и выше урон атак выпад и финт. И наоборот."
