Having sex with Helen gets skill bonus while with Mary not?

If you choose Helen to be your lover after Pirate Saga, you can invite her to tavern periodically to have sex (around once a month?). After sex you both get +1 on your skills.

But if you choose Mary instead, you don't have this bonus but just having sex.

Is it too unfair?

Mary gets the narwhal sword that makes her the strongest officer in the game, Helen needs all the help she can get.

although Narwhal is hands-down THE best looking sword in the game IMHO it's not that special stats-wise (same goes for the masterwork-broadsword on a good roll) since it has the same stats as Petersons-backsword, while only being slightly lighter (tip: if you want to use it give mary a rapier. she'll use it over Narwhal for some reason and since you can't tell her what to equip you can use it yourself). It's still worth it though because of the stat-boosts she gets from the sword.

Getting it upgrades her stats to be easily the best officer in your crew unless you've been freeplaying excessively before Pirate Saga
