controler support

will this game have controler support. seems like a good game but i am horrible with mouse and keyboard . also their is alot of spelling mistakes

there are some pretty spelling mistakes and you can play with a controller at this moment using the steam controller settings i used it myself it's pretty good as well as a dev mentioned adding it later on iirc

its not officially supported if you right click on the game and go to properties somewhere it will say controller in my case its an xbox controller and i used the default profile but you can customze it all it does is emulate the keyboard and mouse it was very playable in my experience any game that can play on steamdeck already has a pretty good default controller setup

wow im going to give it a try i used to play sea dogs 2 ( pirates of the caribbean) on x box so was so happy to find this game

yeah for sure man i didn't find the series until CoAs but it's quickly become one of my favorite series next to the OG fallout games hope you enjoy

hi mate thank you so much for your help i have managed to get the controller to work now but am struggling with the re map.. probably from playing pirates of the caribbean on original xbox.. i am trying to find a manual for that game so i can try to re map it to be similar to those controls . any ideas?
