Monthly payment

I don`t like monthly payment.It ruins the game a lot.
Divide the plunder should be enough.I dont wanna lose my ship members because i
cannot pay them .
Historically only Stede Bonnet paid regurarly in his crew.

I thought it was an option you could turn off at the start of a game but that might only be sandbox and not story.

they did this before i use it in CoAS its annoying to keep them happy.

Disable the option "Crew's shares" when starting a New Game. Then make a priority out of hiring a skilled Purser and keep looking for better ones in any taverns you visit. You'll be making a lot of money soon enough and a Purser will keep crew wages low while giving you a boost in trading income.

still find it weird people are getting into debt here, ive never experience it i got sunk and killed yes but debt? i have so much pesos now i dont know what to do with it i just buy everything in a bank lol

Also check the Navigation skill and make sure you don't get penalties there for being too low for the ship class you are on. For example, you need a navigator or must have personal Navigation skill of 45 for Class 4 ships. Navigation skill 65 for Class 3 ship. If you don't have enough points in that skill, you will incur massive upkeep costs regardless of how skilled your Purser may be.
