Well, you can't go back to your ship, it's closed when they appear. Hiding behing guards is a good idea but my borders still attack.
I could dismiss them in every port but seems like a bad solution to a bad problem.
I mean, that's just the way it works. You piss off a nation enough, you gonna have to pay the price.
Time to spend a bunch of dubloons to get the bounty removed, or at least lowered so that you wont have to deal with a gang of them at ports.
Also, if you're far enough into the game, you get the Lamport's Suit, which raises your stealth a lot. If you wear that you can usually talk your way out of it (90% chance in my case) so it won't even matter anymore.
I kind of understand why they have it but I think it's a bit to much having assassins that often, it's most fun to raid Spanish ships, let me to that for France without having to worry about landing in some places that's tight and not enough room to fight 6-7 assassins without my companions hitting the locals.
Took some time to remove that much bounty too, understandable for how much bounty I had though.
Is there a way to fight the spanish without raising the bounty too high?
Raise the pirate flag before attacking any nation. it will reduce and sometimes negate any relation drop.
