Playable Characters

Can we choose from different heroes? would love to play as peter Blood or some other character from the older games.. maybe females too.

Three heroes, that's good, but only the french character have his own story and quests i presume ?

Probably Charles de maure , Nicolas Sharp and Peter Blood, the other ones Blaze/Beatrice Shark are likely not going to be available at start maybe later ?

A female character would be nice tho.. well i hope we get the possibility to add custom characters like in COAS

Correct! They will all share non-story side quests though.

IF nothing changed, it was fairly easy to find the textures files and swap them, therefor changing your own character or important NPC's models for something else, I've even successfully used models from age of pirates 2 : COAS.
