Is there any hidden techniques like in Rabi-Ribi?

Having played Rabi-Ribi a few times, a really neat trick you could do was an early wall jump technique by facing the opposite direction of a wall, jumping and moving towards the wall, pressing jump off the wall and then quickfalling against the opposite wall to get two very early game wall jumps before getting the item. This technique doesn't exist in this game and I was wondering if there were any hidden techniques similar for Tevi.

Not in the base game.


However...

...when you complete the game, you unlock Custom Game mode, which allows you to apply certain modifiers to the game. One of the first modifiers that unlocks is Free Roam, which changes the game to play out more like Rabi-Ribi, and also grants the use of Reverse Wall Jump and Wall Kick to help out (though it doesn't tell you that you have access to them).

there's some minor sequence breaking you can do with pogoing off enemies or using the double jump from backflip slash to reach areas you can't normally, but you usually can't get far with it, just a badge or other collectible here and there before you then get blocked by actual ability requirements
