End game key item questions

I just started Chapter 8 and I'm starting to clean up all of the maps. I found the Library Key and the Gilded Left Hand key items.

I'm assuming there is a library in one of the towns or an NPC to talk to? I wasn't able to find anything.

After getting to the end of the Misty Maze I found the Mysterious Stranger, but he didn't react to the Gilded Left Hand. I've also completed all of his challenges from A-G. Maybe I missed one somewhere?

And, finally, how do you upgrade the Explorer's Compass? I'm assuming it might be linked to one of these side quests?

You beat the game and you can upgrade the compass

The library key's used in Ana Thema for a secret area, you don't need to talk to npcs to access it. There's also a Gilded Right Hand you need to find for the Stranger.

You need to collect both left and right gilded hands before talking to mysterious stranger in misty maze.

The library was a nice little Easter egg. Can anyone share the zone where the Right Gilded Hand is located?

You either need to get the miniboss to charge through the breakable blocks during the chase sequence when you first visit, or wait until you get the airy powder later in the story to slide through the top gap

Lower right of Morose is Vena's podium. Library key is in upper left of Ana Thema.

i can't find the library entrance itself... i know thanks to the compass rhat there"s an area on the lower left of ana Thema, but i can't access it

EDIT : Found it... but i dont know how to get the money there, two yellow exclamation points

Bomb the upper floors. The blocks are hidden behind the foreground.
