how do i unlock Colours for clothing?

Different NPCs have palettes for sale in their shops.

Good question. I've looked for colors (dyes) in shops repeatedly and never see them for sale.

ive looked though everything in the starter area not one single one has one.. maybe i have to unlock more of the map.

Some of the shopkeeper in the main town has dye palettes. (They're the squares of moderately similar colors in their shop inventory.) You just need the money AND the item needed to be able to buy it.

And once you buy it, you can customize your outfit in your inventory menu, and dye the parts of it with the palettes you have. If you don't/can't see them, then that would be a visual bug to report.

Found a site that lists all of the things purchasable.[gamepretty.com] Just ctrl+f "palette" and it'll tell you who sells which one.

do you have the mats for the pallets? if not they might show up as gray and none buy-able. They look like 3 little squares.
